What Is Rooted In The Word?
Rooted In The Word is a year-long journey through Scripture designed to help us Receive, Respond, Renew, and Release God’s Word in our daily lives.
Why Participate in Rooted In The Word?
Reading the Bible together for an entire year strengthens our unity as a church family and deepens relationships within our congregation. This shared faith experience encourages consistent spiritual habits, fosters meaningful conversation, and helps us stay grounded in Scripture. As we engage in the same passages each day, we learn, grow, and support one another—walking in unity through God’s Word.

Which Bible reading plan does The Bible Recap follow?
The Bible Recap uses a chronological Bible reading plan created by Blue Letter Bible. The readings are arranged in the order events most likely occurred, which may differ from a traditional Bible order, but every chapter of the Bible is included.
What if I get behind?
- Option 1: Pick up where you left off and keep going. You may finish later, but you’ll still read the entire Bible (recommended by The Bible Recap).
- Option 2: Jump to the current day and catch up on missed readings as you’re able. Life happens, and staying in sync with the church is okay too.
What is a Lighthouse GrowGroup?
Small groups centered on Scripture, prayer, and encouragement. They meet at church, in homes, or with family or friends—each group is unique.
